The Challenge

Within the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Program Executive Office for Enterprise Services (PEO-ES), the PMO office is managing an Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1AC Major Automated Information System portfolio of IT products ranging from the development life cycle through sustainment in the midst of DoD budget cuts. This effort requires the PMO compile, analyze and report critical program information in a timely manner to equip the agency’s Executive Management staff with valuable information for their resource allocation decision making process among it’s portfolio with the end state of investing the agency’s resources in the most effective tools for the warfighter. 

The Solution

Suntiva works with and supports the PEO-ES PMO office by tracking, compiling, and assisting in the reporting of critical product life cycle performance data to DISA’s executivemanagement team. Suntiva is integrated with IT product line program managers and assist team members with assembling resource loaded project schedules enabling the PMO to accurately portray program performance, address risks issues and develop mitigation plans for DISA’s executive management staff to ensure effective allocation of shrinking resources while maximizing DISA IT capabilities for the warfighter’s mission.
